As with nearly every aspect of our current economy, from building supplies to fuel to computer chips, local real estate demand continues to far outpace supply. Our inventory stands at 119, up 3 from last week, with 35 houses and 84 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor market. To put those numbers in perspective, last year we ended the first week of August with a total inventory of 291, with 82 homes and 209 lots. Quite a change. This week we closed fourteen sales and wrote up nine new contracts. Sellers added ten new listings (one of which went under contract the same day it hit the MLS) and made five price changes.
