Happy holidays – I hope everyone is enjoying the season and looking forward to a positive 2025. This will be another short and sweet update with our abbreviated work week, as there were once again zero sales recorded during the past 7 days on all of Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and the CR/SR 30-A corridor. There was one new contract executed this week when the sellers of this 2007-built home in the Sunset Pointe HOA on the north Cape accepted an offer just before Christmas.
The only other new activity to report from our comparative market over the past 7 days is the addition of 4 new listings into our MLS, which includes a couple of residential beachfront offerings from the south Cape and Indian Pass, plus 2 more vacant lots from Indian Pass and the north Cape. This brings our residential inventory count up to 112 homes for sale, while 106 vacant lots are available on all of Indian Pass, Cape San Blas, and the CR/SR 30-A corridor.
If you’re in town for New Year’s Eve, you’ll have the opportunity to celebrate twice since the Eastern and Central time zone line is located near the Gulf and Bay county line. You’ll also want to consider taking part in the 9th annual Cape San Blas Polar Plunge. Water and air temps are both expected to be around 60 degrees here on New Year’s Day – here’s a brief history of the previous 8 CSB Polar Plunges courtesy of Scallop Cove on the Cape:
#8 2024 = 215 plungers, air 59°, water 58°
#7 2023 =200 plungers, air 64°, water 69°
#6 2022 =115 plungers, air 70°, water 68°
#5 2021 = 15 plungers, air 47°, water 63°
#4 2020 = 80 plungers, air 43°, water 62°

#2 2018 = 15 plungers, air 39°, water 65°

Have a Happy New Year!
