There was no let up in demand for coastal real estate this week as we closed four sales, wrote up ten new contracts, added ten new listings, and made four price changes. Our inventory remains unchanged at 263, with 81 houses and 182 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass, and C-30 Corridor MLS market.
This week everyone along the north gulf coast cast nervous eyes on Delta as it moved menacingly northward through the Gulf on the exact dates two years ago Hurricane Michael was making its way toward our shores. In the aftermath of a category 5 storm that lasted only a few hours, our area was forever changed to measuring time as life before and life after Michael. For Louisiana, this is the third onslaught their region has endured in two months, including devastating cat 4 Laura just a few weeks ago. If you would like to help these people recover, their Governor’s website has links to reputable sources and guidelines as to the most effective ways to do so.
As you can see from this week’s numbers, demands for homes remains super strong, so if you have a house on the Cape you’ve been considering selling and would like to know what it’s likely worth in our current market, let me know and I’ll be happy to provide you with a no-cost, no-obligation estimate of market value. Call or text me at 850-227-5197 or drop a line to [email protected].
Have a great week, stay safe, and thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule for stopping by today.
Reminder – If you would like to read this with the links to the various listings, I can only email them to you now with our new MLS which I’ll be glad to do. Just let me know by sending me a request to [email protected] and I’ll set you up to receive my blog post with the links each week.
