A recent Airbnb survey of favorite destinations for vacationers this year in the US saw Cape San Blas coming in at fifth place and our market activity certainly reflects that interest, closing the week with thirteen sales and double that number of new contracts, with twenty-six parties signing up to purchase a piece of the Forgotten Coast to call their own. Sellers jumped on the bandwagon listing thirteen new properties, seven of which are already under contract, one of which is sold, and one that was withdrawn, leaving only four new listings still available for sale at week’s end. Crazy times. There were three price changes, one of which was a price increase! All that activity leaves our total inventory down thirteen from last week, closing at 146 with only 30 homes and 116 lots listed for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 active MLS listings.
At this rate, we’e entering into ‘sold out’ status. The next few months are going to be very interesting.
