I guess everybody was busy getting ready for this weekend’s goblins and goodies, because they sure weren’t out and about buying real estate. Only one sale closed, and just two new contracts. Two new properties came on the market, and two prices changed. We trimmed our inventory by four, closing the week at 257 with 78 homes and 179 lots listed in the MLS for sale in the Cape San Blas, Indian Pass and C-30 Corridor markets.
Our one and only sale is a third tier, gulf view lot on Sanuk Drive, up in the vicinity of Coneheads Restaurant. The sellers put the 101′ by 163′ parcel under contract last week with a list price of $89,000, and closed this week for $65,000. From what I can tell, it’s part of a minor replat from a larger parcel so I don’t have a value for what the sellers acquired it for.
The first of our two new contracts is a 4-bedroom, 4 1/2-bath, 2,007 square foot townhome in Seacliffs listed for $269,000. The sellers bought it from the developer back in 2002 for $360,000, and first put it on the market in late 2008 with a list price of $495,000.
Contract number two is over in Indian Summer at Indian Pass. Buyers penned a deal on a 90′ by 265′, half-acre canal front lot listed for $59,000. The sellers bought it in June 2002 for $95,000.
And quick as a wink we’re done.
