Efforts by a hard working crew of dedicated residents to pass a referendum to provide for renewed beach restoration on the Cape paid off on Tuesday when the measure was approved overwhelmingly by the voters living in the district most directly impacted, those north of the rocks at Stumphole to the state Park. The Star posted an article shortly after 7 p.m. when the results were announced.
A sincerely heartfelt thank you to all involved in making this a reality; you have logged a lot of long hours and you are very much appreciated. Thank you so much.
