Indian Pass is a small community located on the 2.9-mile peninsula which is commonly thought of as one of the last true bastions of “Old Florida.” Indian Pass gets its name from the natural pass of water between the end of the peninsula and St. Vincent Island, which is a National Wildlife Refuge accessible only by boat. Indian Pass is well known for its unspoiled and uncrowded beaches, ever-present wildlife of all kinds, world-class fishing and oysters, and friendly locals. There is a public boat ramp and campground located at the end of Indian Pass peninsula, and the world famous Indian Pass Raw Bar and General Store are located at the CR 30-A turnoff to the Pass. The majority of the peninsula is made up of individual plats of beachfront, beach view and lagoon front parcels, along with a few subdivisions which include Indian Summer, The Reservation, The Indian Pass Village, Indian Pass Shores, Mystic Palms & St. Vincent Point. With plenty of trees and natural foliage along a wide, accreting shoreline with secluded and uncrowded beaches, it’s no wonder most folks who visit Indian Pass want to return again and again.
